Reasons of Dry Skin and Know how to fix it

Dry Skin is a common condition that can be caused due to many reasons. Dry Skin can be a symptoms that indicates a more serious diagnosis. But usually, Dry Skin is caused by environmental factors that remove moisture from the skin. Heat, hot shower, arid climates, and harsh soap can all trigger dry skin. But there’s a lot can do to address dry skin and restore moisture.

Types of Dry Skin

Actually two different types of dry skin and the only difference between those two is one is lacking in water and one is lacking in oil. There should be a very good balance between oil and water on your skin the reason for any forms of alcohol or problematic skin is when we have an imbalance of  oil to water ration. So even if have super oily skin can also have dry skin at certain times and that is mostly because of dehydration. So whether you’re dehydrated or have dry skin the most common symptoms you’ll notice is your skin is a little bit more red and sensitive you have really taut and tight skin feeling a lot of like fine lines and wrinkles sometimes just dry flaky skin so those are the most common symptoms.

Following are some home remedies to cope with dry skins.

    1. Honey

You will require:

    • 1 tablespoon of honey.
    • 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
    • 1 tablespoon of bee’s wax pellets.

Preparation and Usage:

    • Put the bee’s wax in a boiler. Melt.
    • remove from the stove.
    • Add honey and olive oil.
    • Combine fully.
    • Pour into a clear glass jar.
    • Apply balm on skin daily.

2. Olive Oil

You will require:

    • 1 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
    • 2 drop of lavender essential oil.

Preparation and Usage:

    • Mix olive oil and essential lavender oil in a bottle.
    • Shake the bottle to mix well.
    • Gently massage the mixture onto your skin for about 10 to 15 minutes.
    • Do this daily for one to two weeks.

3. Mango

You will require:

    • 1 ripe mango.
    • 3 tablespoons of virgin olive oil.
    • 1 tablespoon of honey.

Preparation and Usage

    • Separate mango pulp from skin.
    • Mash the mango pulp.
    • Add honey and olive oil.
    • Mix until consistency is similar to a paste.
    • Apply mixture on face and body.
    • Leave it on for one hour.
    • Rinse with cool water.
    • Do this three to four times each week.

4.Milk

You will require:

    • 4 tablespoons of milk.
    • 2 to 3 drops of rose water.
    • 1 carton of milk.

Preparation and Usage

    • Into milk and add few drops of rose water into it..
    • Mix well and apply the milk solution on your body using a cotton pad or tissue paper.
    • Leave it on the body for 10 to 15 minutes before washing it with cool water.
    • Do this two times a day for two to three weeks.
    • Pour a carton of milk to your bath water.
    • Soak in the water for 30 minutes to an hour.
    • Rinse your body with cool water.
    • Repeat the above steps once a week for three to four months.

5. Avocado

You will require:

    • 1/2 ripe avocado.
    • 1/2 cup of honey.
    • 1 teaspoon of avocado oil.

Preparation and Usage

    •  Scoop out the pulp and mash it.
    • Add honey.
    • Apply the paste on skin and leave it on for 15 minutes.
    • Wash it off with cool water.
    • Do this two times a week.
    • Apply a thin layer of avocado oil on your skin.
    • Let it sit for an hour.
    • Wipe it off with a clean towel.
    • Repeat the above steps once a day for a week.

6. Coconut Oil

Direction to use:

  • Apply coconut oil on your body after taking a bath or before everyday.
  • Do this for several weeks until skin is no longer dry and rough.
  • Apply any other kind of moisturizer with coconut oil int it, for oily acne prone skin.
