The pomegranate is a small tree that grows between 4 and 5 cm (16 & 26 feet) tall. The fruit peel, seeds, flowers and leaves of this plant are of great medicinal value.
The pomegranate was commenced in the area of modern day Iran, and has been fertilized since ancient times throughout the Mediterranean area and northern India.
