Benefits Of Chewing Betel Leaf
The betel is the leaf of a vine belonging to the pepper family. Betel leaf is not just a leaf, it is an Ayurvedic medicinal plant. The birth place of betel leaf is from India. In Sanskrit, it is also known as ‘Nagavallari’ and ‘Saptha shira’. Indians commonly used betel leaves for marriage functions and religious ceremonies. Chewing betel leaves without arca nut, lime and tobacco has more medicinal values.
