The investigators at Asian Vegetable Research And Development Center(ARVDC) organize that moringa leaves contains nutrients, including protein, iron, calcium and rich amount of anti oxidants such as Vitamin A, B and C.
Antioxidants helps protect against cell damage generated by chemicals in the body, called as free radicals, which can play a role in the development and spread of cancer.
Vitamin C helps to control a healthy immune system, while vitamin A is important for regular growth, vision and bone development. It can also helps to control mucous membranes that protect against germs in the respiratory and digestive tracts.
Moringa leaves also contain good quantity of amino acids that can helps rise the immune system. This is greatly important while undergoing treatment such as chemotherapy, because the medicines used during chemo can force destruction on the immune system and the body needs way to struggle this side effect in order to fight back.
