Violence against women

The violence against women was practiced from the post vedic period.The doors of education,economic,politics  closed for women from that period itself.They became equal to the commodities that are to sold or brought.As the time came into being several cruelties also started against the women .Sati  was introduced at that time .Beating against the women was  common at that days .That got social license for all the men.Nobody were there to restrict that type of activities.Small girls became Devadasis at the temple.At several areas  girls got married at the teen age itself.It is now also present in India .Girls got marriage before 18 and some of them married between 5 and 9.In certain communities the new born girls were killed by there own parents.Polygamy took strong roots in the society and  marriage became common.

Women are victim of the public violence such as  gang rape.It shows a patriarchal mindset .It  is the weapon  to avoid raising sound against the men.If the women is uneducated ,if she is uneconomic,and she doesn’t have anybody to help ,she will be violated by the society.Although violence is aggregated by the community ,caste,religion.the women must organize themselves and show the others about the cheating .By organizing they could help others and raise voice against the violence they can turn the blind eye .This would help for the women to stand with dignity in the world.Dowry system was available in the Indian society .This cause the bridal killing every year.Their are thirty forms of violence from their prenatal to their death.these violence’s are reported in the media very quickly.the violence is continuing day by day because no social actions are done.This is the fight between human and in human.it’s between the good and evil.If she is standing in the bus stop she is exposed with the vulture eyes of the men.it is responsibility of the social workers but the biggest responsibility goes to the women itself.After the international news reported that the 23 years old girl get raped in the bus by the gang in Delhi while her home.That was in  2012 December after that there were lot of cases reported.about 144 cases were reported .

These type of violence are done were there is no educated ,unemployed women are living.Newborn babies are killed if they are girl .some of them terminate the female fetus by abortion or they will force to abortion.They like to be have the son because there must be care to the parents and they doesn’t have the fear about them.The example of this situation is the dowry.If the parents are getting the son they could not have to pay the dowry .Preconception and prenatal diagnostic technique  Act have been modified in 2003.  The presence of the women police officers might help to solve the problem .The NCRB status show that in india women is unsafe in her marital stage upto her death.Female participation in the daily life is increasing and laws are not modifying.India has to travel more to make women to make equal with the men .
