New Bajaj V12: Specifications And Features
Vikranth
Indian Navy’s prime aircraft Vikranth came from Britain in 1961. Until 1997, enemies were highly frightened of it. This air craft carried many jets and helicopters and acted as an airport in the sea.
Vijay
After its commission in Navy the first operation was Vijay. The operation was to drew off Portuguese from Goa. Its aim was to protect the country from the interference of other countries. Its first mission was a great success.
End
After the decommissioning of Vikranth it was kept at Mumbai museum. The navy could not afford its maintenance cost. So it was auctioned in 2014.
Rebirth
The major two wheeler manufacturer Bajaj gave re-birth to Vikranth. The parts of Vikranth were melted and used in the manufacturing of Bajaj V models tank camp.
Second One
The name Bajaj was removed from the V model. In short span 150 CC V 15 had become a great success. The V12 model has the same style of v15 and it has great mileage at low cost.
Superb Model
The Bajaj at that time was not as the traditional vehicle right now. It has been manufactured in new style which was the secret behind the victory. The V12 and V15 models have same styles and is not easy to identify the difference. It had stylish head lamp units and muscular fuel tanks.
Changes
V12’s mudguard was black in color and head lamp consist of chrome coating. The fuel tank has beautiful graphics also. The seat had body color covering and has removable back seat cover. Other important features include small front forks and small tyres.
Instead of analog digital console it has been made analog.
Style
For making it cost effective, small changes are made, but it does not affect it’s style. The stylish bike is 125 cc V12 model.
V12 Engine
V12 Engine is a V Engine with 12 cylinders placed on the crankcase in two banks of 6 cylinders each, usually but not always at a 60 degree angle to each other, with all 12 pistons driving a common crankshaft.
The V12 has an 125 cc single cylinder with 4 stroke air cooled engine. The fuel tank capacity of V12 is 13L. The V12 model is on sale at Rs.58320.
