Free Coaching To Students Preparing For Competitive Exams

The generation now just want to crack all pre-university competitive exams to fill up any college seat they wish to. Students now spend more money in coaching centres than in exam fees. In this competitive world, going to coaching and preparing for a better future is never a bad option. Coaching is a necessity for cracking exams as we get to know the real way to plan and prepare.

But there are people who are not economically fit to join coaching. And many lose their dreams only for this reason. Pre-University exams are known as one of the toughest exams. Hence, students need special attention and guidance in it. But now the government is planing to provide free coaching for students preparing for pre-university competitive exams.

The Government Law:

The scheme provided by the Government claims to give financial support for free coaching to notified minority students in selected coaching institutes. Students preparing for examinations to qualify in technical/ professional courses such as engineering, medical, management, information technology, law, etc and language or aptitude examinations for seeking admissions in foreign university.

Also for those students preparing for recruitment to Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ services and other equivalent post under the central and state governments including public sector undertakings, banks, insurance companies as well as autonomous bodies.

According to the news, the government aims in converting 3,000 firms into teaching centres in India. The teaching centres are supposed to conduct mock tests and test practices along with free coaching. The scheme is said to be implemented from May, 2019.

Present Status Of the Law:

Practice centres are said to start mock tests from September 8. Meanwhile, National Test Agency (NTA) has started the online registration process from September 1 for all practice centres for the students appearing for NET, UGC NET, JEE MAINS. The last date of registration is 30 september.  Various academic institutions have supported the scheme by giving their centres for the welfare of the students in need of help. Candidates can apply for the above mentioned on the official website of NTA nta.ac.in

NTA is planning to provide a mobile app for the students to help find their practice centre near by which will soon be reaching the google play store.
